At the beginning of June my parents visited me at my home and stayed for a week. During that time we visited the Allwetterzoo (All weather zoo, you can go there in any weather) in Münster. I could not remember when I last visited a zoo. Enjoying photography I took my camera with me.
Luckily the Allwetterzoo in Münster allowed taking pictures as long as they will only be published on a private homepage or something alike, no commercial use is allowed. This is very generous and I appreciated this statement very much, allowed it to try shooting “wild” animals. This is one of these photographs.
There were two tigers, a male and a female. It was quite warm (for us) and the male tiger looked a bit bored. So, and I did not see it, he threw a wooden stick into the water. Then he tried to get it back, which unfortunately did not happen at first. Instead the stick moved more away from him. A few minutes passed and the stick came back very slowly. This shot was taken shortly before the tiger got the stick back.
While it was very nice of the zoo to allow taking pictures, please visit the zoo to support it as well follow their rules to publish the taken pictures. Lot’s of other persons will thank you for that.
